“Five Simple Tenets for an Extraordinary Orthodontic Career”

Dr. Sean K Carlson is a Board Certified Orthodontist who received his dental degree from Harvard University in 1994. He received both his Orthodontic Specialty training and his Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from the University of California at San Francisco in 1998.

Dr. Carlson is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He has received several academic research awards including two American Association of Orthodontists Foundation Awards and has published numerous articles and abstracts in the orthodontic literature. He lectures nationally on a variety of clinical and theoretical subjects.  His primary focus is on using computer technology to improve the way we study, teach and practice orthodontics.

Dr. Neal Kravitz received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed a residency in orthodontics at University of Illinois Chicago. He has written articles for publication in AJO-DO, JCO, WJO, JADA, and Angle Orthodontist.

Dr. Kravitz lectures throughout the country and internationally on modern advancements in orthodontics. He has presented numerous times at the AAO, dental and orthodontic society meetings, and orthodontic residencies throughout the country, quickly building a reputation as one of the profession’s most dynamic and sought-after speakers.

Dr. Cole Johnson was born and raised Salem, Oregon, where he practices today. He attended Brigham Young University-Idaho and received his dental training from Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Johnson completed his orthodontic residency at Virginia Commonwealth University and started his practice from scratch in 2012. He is married to his high school sweetheart and they are the parents of eight children. His many musical, sports and family exploits are vividly depicted on Facebook or Instagram.

Dr. Johnson has lectured throughout the country and is one of the most exciting personalities in orthodontics today.

“Q and A with Dr. J”

Dr. Greg Jorgensen is a board-certified orthodontist practicing in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He received his undergraduate degree from BYU, his dental degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and his masters in orthodontics from the University of Iowa.

Dr. Jorgensen has served as the president of the both the RMSO and the New Mexico Association of Orthodontists. He served for 8 years on the AAO Committee on Technology and is currently serving on the Council on Communications.

Dr. Jorgensen has published numerous articles in the AJO-DO, the JCO, and Orthodontic Products magazine. He has been featured multiple times as a guest lecturer on the Practical Reviews in Orthodontics series and speaks nationally and internationally on website design, internet presence, social media, and reputation management.

 “Five pearls I wish I had known 10 years ago regarding Clear Aligner Treatment”

Orthodontics and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Currently, he is a Clinical Assistant professor at Saint Louis University’s orthodontic residency program, with a focus on clinical oversight and lectures regarding Invisalign.

Dr. Moshiri is a lecturer for Align Technology, traveling internationally to educate orthodontists on the proper use of the appliance. He has also published scientific articles for Invisalign, in addition to peer-reviewed orthodontic journals on a variety of other orthodontic topics. Maz recently celebrated his 6th wedding anniversary. He and his wife have been blessed with two beautiful children.

“Treating palatally impacted canines with the open eruption technique.”

Dr. Hayes received his B.S., D.D.S. and M.S.D. degrees from Indiana University. He treats all types of orthodontic cases with specific interests in Class II correction, impaction prevention and open eruption techniques, as well as pre-restorative and interdisciplinary orthodontic treatment. Dr. Andy Hayes worked in conjunction with American Orthodontics to develop the PowerScope Class II Corrector.  Dr. Hayes is a Clinical Instructor at the St. Louis University Department of Orthodontics and has presented lectures both nationally and internationally. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Orthotown Magazine and maintains an active private practice near St. Louis.
